Two Men Arrested for March Shooting in Carwin Park

arrested two men Wednesday following an investigation into a March 11 shooting at where a teenager was shot in the leg.

Jamar Rowe, 19, 1 Lawn Avenue, Stamford, was arrested and charged with first-degree assault and conspiracy to commit first-degree assault in the first degree. Kevin Sauveur, 19, of 1 Orange Street, Stamford, was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree assault in the first degree. Their bond is set at $250,000 each and they are scheduled to appear in court on May 18.

Tracy Evans, 34, of 151 Eagle Street, Stamford, was arrested Wednesday for possession of a controlled substance and operation of a drug factory.

Rose Flynn, 53, of 35 Timbermill Road, Stamford, was arrested Wednesday for second-degree assault of a victim over the age of 60.

Melvin Hernandez, 34, of 38 Ann St., Stamford, was arrested Wednesday for for failure to appear in court in the second degree.

Ashunte Hunt, 21, of 45 Jessup Road, Westport, was arrested Thursday for second-degree breach of peace.

Christopher Jones, 27, of 40 Stillwater Ave., Stamford, was arrested Wednesday for violation of probation.

James Lian, 24, of 3536 Frost Road, Shrub Oak, NY, was arrested Thursday for failure to display lights, illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and possession of a controlled substance.

Julio Linarez, 31, of 48 Vernon Place, Stamford, was arrested Wednesday for third-degree burglary and fourth-degree larceny.

Debbi Simms, 37, of 17 Renwick Street, Stamford, was arrested Wednesday for disorderly conduct.

Larry Simms, 42, of 67 Ferris Ave., Norwalk, was arrested Wednesday for disorderly conduct, third-degree assault and risk of injury to a child.

Joseph Young, 27, of 120 Columbus Ave., Vallhalla, NY, was arrested Thursday for second-degree strangulation, second-degree criminal mischief, third-degree assault and second-degree threatening.
