Stamford Woman Hurls Cinder Block Through Boyfriend's Windshield

Deyser Hernandez and Sasha Tatis of Stamford were arrested Tuesday morning at 2:05 a.m. and charged with several dispute-related charged, including assault third degree, disorderly conduct, and criminal mischief.

"She accused him of cheating on her, and confronted him about it," SPD's Sgt. Barcello said. "When he got home, according to Tatis, he attacked her with his hands and knees. She grabbed a cincer block from next to his car and smashed the windshield with it."

At that point, according to SPD's report, Hernandez chased Tatis down and attacked her.

"He appeared to be under the influence of alcohol," Barcello said. According to Hernandez's arrest report, Tatis threw a broom handle at him after he chased her, and broke the window of a home that they did not own.

Hernandez has been charged with third degree assault, disorderly conduct, and third degree criminal mischief, whereas Tatis has been charged with only disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.

"Tatis was arrested, but not taken into this station. She was given a summons," Barcello said.

Britney McDow, 21, Stamford, was arrested Monday and charged with sixth degree larceny.

Samuel Catalan-Perez, 21, Stamford, was arrested Monday and charged with evading responsibility and illegal operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
