Stamford Trio Is Accused of Robbing Teen


A trio of 18-year-olds surrendered to Greenwich Police who obtained arrest warrants charging them with robbery and assault in connection with an incident in January.

The Stamford teens, armed with a knife, are accused of robbing a 17-year-old of a pair of earbuds as he walked along St. Roch Avenue in the Chickahominy neighborhood of town about 10:30 p.m. Jan. 14, according to a police report. The trio surrendered on Feb. 18 and admitted they were involved in the incident in which the victim was hit, according to the report.

Charged with second-degree robbery and third-degree assault were:

  • Miguel Fernandez of West Main Street, Stamford
  • Ivan R. Flores of Riverbank Road, Stamford
  • Kenny Segura of Durant Street, Stamford
All three were released on written promises to appear Feb. 26 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
