Stamford's Long Ridge FC Fights Early Morning Car Fire

The Long Ridge Fire Company successfully fought an A.M. car fire in North Stamford, which resulted in no injuries.

The Long Ridge Fire Company alone is responsible for extinguishing an North Stamford car fire early Monday morning, according to a report by the LRFC.

"At 1:57AM, the Long Ridge Fire Company was dispatched to a reported brush fire near 55 Riding Stable Lane. Upon arrival, it was found to be a fully involved vehicle fire in the woods adjacent to Dorothy Heroy Park," LRFC's Daniel Dauplaise stated in a press release.

According to LRFC, the cause of the fire is under investigation, and the vehicle has been cleared from the roads.

The fire was extinguished by Long Ridge firefighters, with Chief Stuart Teitelbaum in command," Dauplaise stated.
