Stamford's Cove Road MiniMart Robbed at Gun Point Again

It is the second armed robbery at the store for the month of September.

A convenience store located in the 300 block of Cove Rd. was robbed at gunpoint Sunday night at approximately 9:30 p.m., Lt. Diedrich Hohn said Monday.

Similar to the robbery that previously occurred at the same location, a white or hispanic male pointed a large-caliber semiautomatic handgun at the MiniMart clerk and demanded cash, Hohn said.

The suspect received an unspecified amount and ran to a waiting vehicle on Dale Place, which was then seen traveling down Ursula Place.
