Stamford's Cove Road MiniMart Robbed at Gun Point Again

It is the second armed robbery at the store for the month of September.

A convenience store located in the 300 block of Cove Rd. was robbed at gunpoint Sunday night at approximately 9:30 p.m., Lt. Diedrich Hohn said Monday.

Similar to the robbery that previously occurred at the same location, a white or hispanic male pointed a large-caliber semiautomatic handgun at the MiniMart clerk and demanded cash, Hohn said.

The suspect received an unspecified amount and ran to a waiting vehicle on Dale Place, which was then seen traveling down Ursula Place.

Police said the suspect in this incident had the same build and similarhandgun to the last suspect, and walked around the store as if he was familiar with the layout.
