Stamford Quartet Faces Burglary, Larceny Charges


A quartet of Stamford residents face a variety of burglary and larceny charges following an incident in the 200 block of Bedford Street on Wednesday.

The case involved a group of squatters using the building, said Lt. Diedrich Hohn. They were arrested just before 2:45 p.m. July 17, according to police records.

Arrested were:

  • Steve Lucien, 24, of 597 Pacific St. Charged with sixth-degree larceny, third-degree burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Cassandra Morain, 21, of 1425 Bedford St. Charged with  sixth-degree larceny, third-degree burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Joshua Ortiz, 22, of 26 Main St. Charged with  sixth-degree larceny, third-degree burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Maurice Williams, 30, of 76 Garden St.  Charged with sixth-degree larceny, third-degree burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia.
