Stamford Police Bust 18 in Drug Sting

Stamford police made 18 arrests Friday on various drug charges following Operation PSN, which they conducted resources and manpower assistance from Darien, Norwalk and Waterbury police departments, Capt. Richard Conklin said Monday.

Conklin said the arrests were a culmination of two months worth of work. All those arrested were operating independent of one another, he said, and identified them all as  what he called "mid-level dealers."

Conklin said heroin and crack cocaine were mostly the narcotics recovered during the operation, and mostly from the South End and West Side sections of the city. The arrested parties, charges, and bonds are as follows. All were scheduled to appear in court Dec. 6, 2013:

  • Denis Newton, 24, of 87 Wardwell Street - possession of marijuana, three counts sale of narcotics, $100,000.
  • Donald Santagato, 59, of 34 Sutton Drive - two counts sale of narcotics, $100,000
  • Michael Singleton, 40, of 52 Myano Lane - three counts sale of narcotics, three counts possession of narcotics within 1500 feet of public housing, possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, no bond listed.
  • Marc Lawson, 35, of 186 Ludlow Street - two counts possession of narcotics, two counts possession of narcotics with intent to sell, two counts possession within 1500 feet of public housing, operating a drug factory, possession of marijuana, $75,000.
  • Serge Rinchere, 34, no address listed - three counts sale of narcotics, two counts possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of public housing, $100,000
  • Ray Roe, 41, no address listed - three counts sale of narcotics, four counts possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of public housing, possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, $150,000
  • Melisa Greco, 32, of 206 Cove Road #1A - sale of narcotics, conspiracy to commit sale of narcotics, $2,500
  • Kerece Creary, 29, of 1 Reynolds Avenue - sale of narcotics, sale of marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, $30,000
  • William Vaughn, 51, of 28 Perry Street - two counts sale of narcotics, conspiracy to commit sale of narcotics, interfering with a police officer/resisting, $35,000
  • Daryl Petitt, 34, of 39 Durant Street, four counts sale of narcotics, possession of narcotics, two counts possession with intent to sell, possession of a hallucinogen, $35,000
  • Antonio Flores, 42, of 62 Selleck Street Apt. 4, two counts sale of narcotics, $25,000
  • Christian Gonzalez, 23, of 17 West Street, two counts of possession of narcotics, $60,000
  • Darryl Frederick, 40, of 122 Morgan Street Apt. 216-B, four counts sale of narcotics, $50,000
  • Deborah Mayes, 56, of 8 Green Street 2nd Floor, three counts sale of narcotics, two counts possession of narcotics within 1500 feet of a school, no bond due to medical condition
  • Robert Jones, Jr., 51, of 241 Fairfield Avenue 3rd Floor, four counts sale of narcotics, $25,000 due to medical condition
  • Cesar Eduardo, 45, of 69 Greenwich Avenue, three counts sale of narcotics, $50,000
  • Larry Jackson, 21, of 28 Perry Street Apt. 10E, conspiracy to commit sale of narcotics, $10,000
  • Brandon Coney, 27, of 141 Columbus Place, three counts sale of narcotics, $50,000
