Stamford Man Walking Home Beaten & Robbed by 3 Males

A man walking home was mugged by three suspects police described as two teenagers and an older man, authorities said Thursday.

According to police, three black males dressed in black hoodies passed by the 35-year-old man as he walked along Orchard Street. Police said the victim described two of the males as appearing to be no older than 13 or 14 years old, while the third looked to be in his mid-20s.

After they passed the man, they grabbed him from behind and threw him to the ground, then began kicking and punching him. At one point during the attack, one of the suspects reached into the mans pocket and took his wallet, containing about $30 in cash.

The suspects were last seen running along Orchard Street. The victim was transported to Stamford hospital for his injuries with minor injuries like cuts and scrapes. An investigation is ongoing.
