Stamford Man Stabbed Multiple Times, in 'Fair' Condition

Police say a man with stab wounds to his face, arm and hand and his teen son gave conflicting accounts of an attack by a suspect or suspects armed with a knife.

At approximately 11:08 p.m. Thursday night, police responded to reports that a man had been stabbed in the area of Forest and Pleasant streets, authorities said Friday morning.

Authorities arriving at the scene discovered a 44-year-old man with multiple stab wounds to his face, arm and hand, according to police. They also said the man's 18-year-old son was on-scene with a superficial wound to his head.

The man reportedly told police a hispanic male who'd been drinking with several others on his block had attacked him after he'd asked them to quiet down, police said, though they explained the man's son gave a conflicting account and the son's story involved white males as the suspects.
