Stamford Man Smashed in Face with Bottle Suffers Broken Jaw

The man also lost some teeth and suffered severe lacerations in the ordeal, according to police.

Police are seeking assistance from the public to help them find a man who put a victim in the hospital with a broken jaw, missing teeth and severe lacerations to the face over a blocked driveway Saturday night, police said Monday.

According to authorities, the victim allegedly came home to find a party taking place next door at a neighbors house in the first block of Cedar St. and a car blocking his own driveway.

The man went nest door and, when he asked to have the car moved, was attacked by someone at the party and struck in the face with a bottle, police said. Soon after, police said the Silver Toyota, which was the only description they were able to obtain, disappeared from the area.

The man was described as being in pretty bad shape by Lt. Diedrich Hohn, who said the case remains under investigation. The victim has been unable to give a statement about the incident as his jaw is currently wired shut and he was not in a condition to give an extended written statement, according to authorities.

The suspect was described by police as an athletic black male standing approximately 5-feet, 7-inches tall.
