Stamford Man Gets 5 Years in Federal Prison on Cocaine Charges

The man known as "Warlord" also received 5 years of supervised release.

A 35-year-old Stamford man known as "Warlord" was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison and 5 years of supervised release after being convicted on cocaine distribution charges, the U.S. Attorney's Office announced today.

Agustin Crespo, also known as "Auggie," was a member of the Latin Kings, authorities said, and held a rank of the "Third Crown," or, worked as an enforcer. 

Crespo was arrested as part of Operation Safe Neighborhoods on May 12, 2011.

He entered a guilty plea on January 11, 2012, to one count of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine.
