Stamford Man Charged With Slashing Friend With Beer Bottle

After a night of drinking, police say an 18-year-old man slashed a friend across the face with a broken beer bottle.

A Stamford man was arrested early Friday morning for allegedly slashing a "friend" repeatedly in the face with a broken bottle Lt. Diedrich Hohn reported Friday morning.

Two men were reportedly out drinking all of Thursday night and shared a cab back to Stamford in the area of 183 W. Main St., police said. Here, authorities said the pair split ways—until the suspect identified as Ricki Alejandro Vega-Jimenez, 18, of Greenwood Hill St., returned with a broken beer bottle.

Police said Jimenez chased down his friend, beer bottle in hand, and slashed the victim across the face, demanding money and stating "I'll keep stabbing you until" the victim handed over his cash.

The victim allegedly had his wallet, approximately $170 in cash and his cellphone.

Authorities managed to track down Jimenez in the vicinity of Greenwood Hill St. and take him into custody.

He faces charges of assault causing serious injury and robbery with a deadly weapon.

Other Arrests

Josue Alvarez-Pacheco, 32, of Warren St., was charged early Friday morning with possession of narcotics, illegally operating a motor vehicle while under suspension and failure to comply with traffic laws.

Frank Battle Patrick, 53, of Pequot Dr., was charged Thursday morning with possession of a controlled substance, sale of a controlled substance and possessiong of drug paraphernalia.

Glenn Gustave, 50, of W. Main St., was charged Thursday evening with failing to maintain a license required to sell or repair motor vehicles.

Tobias Guzman-Vasquez, 36, of Pacific St., was charged Friday morning with criminal trespass.

Alexander Haywood, 35, of Greenwich Ave., was charged early Friday morning with failure to obey traffic control signals, illegal operation of a motor vehicle while suspended and illegla operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Chester H. Lowe, 56, of Glenbrook Rd., was charged Thursday night with failure to register as a person who has committed a sexual offense in another jurisdiction.

Jose A Marrero, 31, Soundbeach Ave. in Greenwich, was charged Thursday night with illegal operation of a motor vehicle while under suspension, failure to obey traffic control signals, failure to maintain mandatory insurance and failure to notify motor vehicle department of address change.

Monthovany Mondesir, 25, of W. Washington Ct., eas charged early Friday with interfering with an officer, failure to insure a private motor vehicle, failure to renew registration, improper use of a marker, license or registration and reckless driving. 

William Eric Morse-Little, 43, of Ludlow St., was charged early Friday morning with failure to appear.

James Peter Pelogitis, 43, of Seaview Ave., was charged Thursday afternoon with failure to appear.

Gilberto Rivera, 32, of Woodland Ave, was charged Thursday evening with carrying a dangerous weapon, possession of a controlled substance and sale of a controlled substance.

Tyrome Antone Sawyer, 22, of Atlantic St., was charged Thursday morning with sale of certain illegal drugs and sale of a controlled substance within 1500 feet of a school or similarly enforced structure.

Pasquale Scaturchio, 26, of Madeline Ct., was charged Thursday night with burglary, larceny and reckless driving.

Jennifer Siberion, 25, Webbs Hill Rd., was charged Thursday afternoon with illegal operation of a motor vehicle while under suspension, failure to obey a stop sign, failure to renew registration and two counts of failure to appear.

Christopher Michael Socci, 23, of Dancy Dr., was charged Thursday evening with violation of probation.

Joseph Young, 20, of Connecticut Ave. in Norwalk, was charged early Friday morning with illegal operation of a motor vehicle while under suspension and failure to display lights.
