Stamford Man Arrested for Child Porn Possession

Investigators found 46 movie files containing child pornography on several computers belonging to 27-year-old David Denison.

The 's Internet Crimes Against Children Division arrested a 27-year-old man on child pornography charges on Thursday following a ten-month investigation, according to a statement released by Lt. James Matheny.

David Denison of 136 Maple Ave, Stamford, was charged with first-degree possession of child pornography and importing child pornography after investigators seized several computers from his residence on a search warrant. Officers found 46 movie files containing 420 images of child pornography.

After being notified that there was a warrant out for his arrest, Denison turned himself in on Thursday. He was released on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on June 14.

According to Matheny, Denison could face at least a five-year sentence on each charge if convicted.
