Police arrested a 34 year-old Stamford man on Tuesday for allegedly to a statement released by Lt. Diedrich Hohn.
Terry Barber of 174 Myano Lane was charged with third-degree robbery and second-degree larceny after officers executed a search warrant for evidence. He is being held on a 25,000 bond and was scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday.
Barber allegedly entered the bank at approximately 9:15 a.m., passed a note to a teller demanding money and threatening violence, police said. The teller allegedly handed the man $70, at which point he turned and left. No one was injured and no weapon was presented during the incident.
