Stamford Male Hospitalized in Norwalk Bar Brawl

An unidentified Stamford male needed medical attention following a fight in a bar on West Ave. in Norwalk.

A fight between two groups at Rhythm Dance Club in Norwalk on Sunday morning sent one Stamford man to the hospital.

The 29-year-old man visited the club at 731 West. Ave. with some family members, cousins and friends when some conflict occurred between a member of his group and another group, also at the club. Soon afterward, some members of each group were fighting.

Police were called at 2:58 a.m., when the club would normally be closed for the night. It is unclear from police reports whether or not the fight was in the parking lot or elsewhere.
