Stamford Firefighters Quickly Extinguish West View Ln. Fire

25 firefighters responded to a call of a room on fire on the second floor of a home there.

Stamford Firefighters responded to a call Wednesday morning at approximately 6:30 a.m. of a house fire at 66 West View Lane.

A second-floor room was reportedly on fire, authorities said. Upon arrival, the flames were quickly extinguished.

Stamford Fire Rescue, Belltown and Turn of River firefighters all responded to the call. Firefighters from the Westside fire station were first on scene. Roughly 25 firefighters responded to the call.

The Turn of River Fire Marshal is investigating the cause fo the fire.
