Stamford Authorities Apprehend Family Following Government Center Commotion

Friday was a busy day for Stamford authorities, who took into custody a whole family of seven for causing a ruckus at the Stamford Government Center.

On the morning of Friday, June 14, Stamford Animal Care & Control Shelter Director Laurie Hollywood and Officer Tilford Cobb managed to track down and safely cage a full family of geese who had gotten stuck on the fourth floor outdoor garden of the government center.

The geese were caged—to numerous cheers—and transported to Mill River for release, where they promptly regrouped and took a swim down the river.
