Police Hunt Alleged Burglar Involved in Stamford Incident

Stamford Police say they know the man wanted in connection to a Connecticut Ave. incident.

Police are currently investigating a burglary that occurred at an apartment Wednesday afternoon in the first block of Connecticut Avenue, authorities announced Thursday.  According to investigators, the current occupant of the apartment was notified at work by another resident that a man known to live elsewhere on the block was seen leaving the unit with a computer tower of some sort and a box of items. The woman who resides in the apartment stated a television, X-Box, several games for the unit and several hundred dollars in cash were taken. Police were notified and upon arrival, found the suspect to have fled the area in a vehicle, they said. Police said they are familiar with the 20-year-old suspect and are in the process of obtaining a warrant. Jamaine Jerrod Jones, 27, of Bedford St., was charged Wednesday afternoon with five counts of sale of a controlled substance, four counts possession of a hallucinagen, four counts sale of certain illegal drugs and operation of a drug factory. Two names have been redacted from this article following the parties providing court documentation that charges had been dismissed. Melissa Korinne Ouellett, 23, of Cassidy Dr. in Plainville, was charged Wednesday night with illegally operating a motor vehicle while under suspension and following too closely to a non-commercial motor vehicle. Cenia Karina Ventura, 26, of Henry St., was charged Thursday morning with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault. Marcus Jamar Williams, 20, of Lawn Ave., was charged early Thursday with illegal operation of a motor vehicle while under suspension, failure to renew registration, improper use of a marker, operation of a motor vehicle without minimum insurance, third-degree assault, disorderly conduct (threatening) and second-degree threatening.
