Police: Dead Body Found on the West Side
The body of a 25-year-old Hispanic male was found in a vehicle on Spruce Street Sunday morning.
are investigating the homicide of 25-year-old Hispanic male that occurred on the West side early Sunday morning, according to a statement released by Lt. James Matheny.
At approximately 11:30 a.m., a 911 call was received stating that there was a body in a vehicle parked in front of 151 Spruce Street, according to Matheny. Responding officers found the body with a large knife protruding from a single stab wound to his chest. The scene was examined by the Major Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Unit for several hours and the vehicle was taken into custody by the department.
