Police Blotter: Stamford Man Arrested for Strangulation

Police reports for March 27-28. Information is supplied by the Stamford Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.

The following arrest information was provided by the Stamford Police Department:

Marquell Dasean Jones, 18, of 231 Connecticut Ave., was charged with strangulation in the second degree, third-degree assault and second-degree criminal mischief at approximately 4 p.m. on March 27.

March 27

Leonel Mendiola, 26, of 688 Atlantic St., was charged with breach of peace on the second degree and third degree assault at 12:15 a.m. The breach of peace charge indicates Mendiola was capable of causing minor injury to another person.

Shermiah Brian Henderson, 29, of 329 Glenbrook Road, was charged with the following at about 1:20 a.m.: Illegal possession of a narcotic, failure to insure a private motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and passing at an unsafe distance.

Asia N. Johnson, 19, of 131 Courtland Ave., was arrested for disorderly conduct at 2:36 a.m.

Julio Solorzano-Catalan, 27, of Port Chester, NY, was charged with third-degree assault and carrying a dangerous weapon at about 3:16 a.m.

Sergey Dmitrivich, 24, of Norwalk, was arrested at about 6 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs and reckless driving.

Shara-Kay Black, 19, of 7 Standish Road, was charged with disorderly conduct for threatening at 8:01 p.m.

Kendall R. Woodley, 22, of 3 Lillian. St., was charged with disorderly conduct at 2:36 a.m.
