Police Arrest Bridgeport Man Involved in Stamford Home Invasion

26-year-old Robert Marhoffer was arrested at his home without incident.

arrested a 26-year-old Bridgeport man Thursday in connection with a home invasion that occured at Ursula Place on March 13 in which a 15-year-old boy was tied up while the intruders stole electronics.

Robert Marhoffer of 519 Janes Street in Bridgeport was arrested at his home by Stamford police officers with the assistance of the Bridgeport Police Department. Marhohffer was on his front porch when officers arrived and was arrested without incident.

Marhoffer is charged with home invasion, first-degree unlawful restraint, second-degree robbery and third-degree larceny.

Police are still searching for another suspect in the crime and are asking residents to call 203-977-4417 if they have any information.
