Pedestrian Struck on Main Street

The Stamford Police Department's Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Squad is reportedly investigating the accident, which occurred at about 11:08 p.m. Friday in the vicinity of 226 Main Street.

 

A pedestrian was transported to Stamford Hospital for "advanced treatment" after being struck by a car Friday night on Main Street.

The Stamford Police Department's Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Squad is reportedly investigating the accident, which occurred at about 11:08 p.m. in the vicinity of 226 Main Street.

Police said a 2007 Honda driven by Modeste Bernard, 48, was traveling east when it struck a  50 year old pedestrian between the intersections of Ann Street and Rose Park Avenue.

Police said neither alcohol nor distractions appear to be a factor in the accident.
