One Dead, Three Injured in Shooting on Stamford's East Side

Two men fired five to six shots into a large crowd of people gathered on Custer Street shortly after 11 p.m., according to a report in the Stamford Advocate.

A Stamford man was reportedly killed and three others injured in a shooting on the East Side late Saturday night.

According to a report in the Stamford Advocate, citing statements made by police, two men fired five to six shots into a large crowd of people gathered near the 80 block on Custer Street shortly after 11 p.m.

Police are withholding the identity of the 21-year-old victim, who was hit in the chest, pending notification of family, according to the report.

The other three men, ages 19, 24, and 25, sustained non-life-threatening injuries, according to the report.
