A Stamford father was arrested Monday morning when he allegedly got into a physical altercation with another man who also fathered children with his child's mother.
Police said two men happened to be at a residence at 5 Waverly Place at approximately 12:15 p.m. Monday, both had fathered children with a woman at the residence, and they "got into a physical altercation," police said, but would release no further details.
Children live at the residence, but were at least not in the immediate area when the altercation occurred, police said.
Arrested in the incident was Miguel Socop Poncio, 33, of Schuyler Avenue. He was charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault.
