NY Man Arrested In A Stamford Target Pharmacy

Kenneth A. Briggs, 51, 1 Clark Thomas Building, was arrested Thursday and charged with two counts of forgery and one count of attempt to commit a crime for his alleged attempt to to purchase Oxycodone with a forged, handwritten prescription.

According to SPD, also report that forged prescriptions are becoming an increasing problem, Briggs gave a pharmacist at Stamford's downtown Target which was completely handwritten. This made the pharmacist suspicious, and after following several security protocols, the pharmacist called SPD.

Mario Blas, 35, 808 High Ridge Road, Stamford, was arrested Friday and charged with failure to appear.

Jason B. Crump, 40, 71 Woodside St., was arrested Thursday for failure to appear.

Rodney Gay, 45, 479 Elm Street, was arrested Thursday for third degree assault, breach of peace, second degree threatening, and violation of a protective order.

Ricky D. Goodrich, 32, 18 Wooddrow Street, Stamford, was arrested Thursday and charged with four counts of failure to register as a sex offender.
