I-95 Northbound Lanes Blocked at Port Chester Exit After Crash

Drivers should opt for local roads as I-95 north is closed down following a crash.

Northbound lanes of I-95 near the downtown Port Chester ramp are closed due to an accident.

The crash was reported at 11:26 a.m. at mile marker 13.9, near Exit 21.

Drivers headed into or out of Port Chester or Fairfield County, should opt for local roads to avoid traffic back-ups forming in the northbound lanes.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation reports southbound turnpike traffic is backed up from Port Chester to Exit 5 in Old Greenwich.
