Police said Anderson exited the vehicle she had been operating attempted to place herself between it and the first responding officer. When police inquired about the owner of the vehicle, Anderson said it belonged to a friend, though she could not remember which friend, police said.

After Anderson was detained, police said they discovered a small amount of marijuana in the front pocket of the passenger of the vehicle. They also discovered the vehicle to be a rental.
