Former 'Star Trek' Captain Arrested for DUI in Wilton

Police responded to a call from a concerned resident that the former Star Trek star was operating his vehicle under the influence.

Avery Brooks, best known for his lead role as 'Captain Benjamin Sisko' in the 1990s TV series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, was arrested for DUI in Wilton at around 2 a.m. this past Sunday.

Police said they received a phone call from a concerned person who believed that Brook had left a residence intoxicated. Responding to the call, located Brooks’ car and pulled him over near Belden Hill Road and Seir Hill Road; police subsequently found Brooks to be intoxicated, according to police reports.
