FBI, Stamford PD Make Arrests Allegedly Relating to Drugs, Gambling

The U.S. Attorney's Office confirmed the arrests by the FBI's Organized Crime Task Force, saying more information would be released as soon as the indictment was no longer sealed.

The FBI's Organized Crime Task Force made numerous arrests today with assistance from the Stamford Police Department relating to an alleged drug and illegal gambling racket in Stamford, according to Tom Carson, Public Information Officer for the U.S. Attorney's Office.

The indictment is currently still sealed.

Carson said the defendants in the case are scheduled to be presented in Superior Court in Bridgeport at around 1 p.m. this afternoon. More information will be released at that time.
