Driver Injured When Car Strikes Home in Stamford

A car jumped a hill, ran through some bushes and struck a home.

Stamford emergency responders were tied up Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Turner Rd. and Cody Dr. when a car drove into a home in the city, injuring the driver.

The driver was the only one injured in the incident, though two cars, a house and some shrubbery were all damaged in the incident.

It appeared the vehicle had driven up a small hill in front of the home on Turner Rd., driven across the front lawn, struck a car in the driveway there, traveled through some bushes and truck the rear of the first home facing Cody Dr.
