Connecticut Ave. Brawl Leads to Three Arrests

Stamford's Levar Wakefield, Tamara Jones, and a male associate were arrested on Sunday for assault and interfering with an officer.

A Sunday evening fight between 54 Durant Street's Levar Wakefield, 26, and a male victim ended with the arrest of Wakefield and friends Tamara and a male associate, 25 and 31 respectively.

"Around 6:15 p.m. om the 7th, a SPD officer was patrolling on Connecticut Ave., and observed two males in an argument," SPD's Sgt. George Moran said.

According to Moran, the argument between Wakefield and the victim, whose name has not been released, was allegedly due to a "romantic entanglement".
