Casa Villa Employee Robbed While Making Delivery

According to police, three men attacked the employee Tuesday night and stole his cell phone and the food he was about to deliver.

An employee of Mexican restaurant in Stamford was knocked down and robbed of his food and cell phone by three men as he was leaving the restaurant to make a delivery, according to the Stamord Advocate.

The man was leaving the restaurant, which is located at 182 W. Main St., at 10:48 p.m. and heading toward his car when he was approached by the men, police say.

The attackers knocked the man down, tore open his pants pocket to look for money, and grabbed his cell phone and Mexican dinners packaged for delivery.

According to police, one of the attackers then threw the man's cell phone into the street and fled the scene.
