Body Found at Stamford's Cove Island Park

The body was found on a narrow peninsula near Horseshoe Beach by a walker, according to a report in the Stamford Advocate.

 

The body of a 50-year-old man was reportedly found Saturday afternoon in a remote section of Cove Island Park in Stamford.

According to a report in the Stamford Advocate the body was found on a narrow peninsula near Horseshoe Beach by a walker. The man's identity has not been released by police pending family notification.

The state medical examiner's office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death, according to the report, citing statements made by Stamford Police.
