Assault at the Discovery Cafe

Police have arrested Abraham Reyes, 31, for allegedly assaulting a male victim at the Discovery Cafe.

Stamford's Abraham Reyes, 31, has been charged with 3rd degree assault and disorderly conduct for allegedly attacking a male victim at the Discovery Cafe.

According to the Stamford Police Department, Reyes and the male victim, whose identity remains confidential, encountered each other at Discovery Cafe, located at 185 Stillwater Ave, at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday night.

"They'd had a previous altercation where Reyes punched the victim in the face. When the victim and Reyes stepped outside to discuss that incident, Reyes punched him again," Sgt. Gary Michell of the SPD said.

The cafe's manager called police at 10:36 p.m., who arrived and arrested Reyes.

The victim went to , was treated for minor injuries to his face, and later released, according to police.
