Saira L. Gonzalez, 21, Stamford, was arrested Tuesday at 12:39 a.m. and charged with both 1st degree criminal trespass and third degree assault. According to the Stamford Police Department, Gonzalez attacked another woman over a current relationship.

"The new girlfriend slapped the ex-wife in the face," SPD's Sgt. Vacarro said about the incident. According to Vacarro, the first degree trespassing charge was made because Gonzalez allegedly refused to leave the premises.

Gonzalez paid a $1k bond, and will appear in court within the week. Sgt. Vacarro suggested that the bond was a "little high."
