Another Cellphone Stolen in Public in Stamford
Police said another cellphone was snatched right out a woman's hand as she talked on it.
Stamford police said Thursday morning they're dealign with another phone theft that occurred Wednesday evening at approximately 6:45 p.m. on Bedford Stt
Police said a woman was walking in the 200 block of Bedford St. while talking on her iPhone when a male on a bicycle rode by and snatched the phone out of her hand.
Police said the woman described the bike as a larger model, like a ten speed or a mountain bike, and said the male was wearing a hooded sweatshirt that was pulled up. He never turned around so the victim never got a look at his face, police said.

They canvased the area to no avail, but police said there is some videotape they are currently reviewing.

Stamford Arrests
Jose Alvarez, 31, of Thines St. in Norwalk, was charged Wednesday morning with second-degree failure to appear.
Dario Cadena-Hamilton, 25, of Liberty St., was charged Wednesday afternoon with second-degree unlawful restraint and disorderly conduct.
Savio Cardoza, 42, of Ferris Ave. in Norwalk, was charged Wednesday night with second-degree assault, second-degree conspiracy to commit assault, second-degree unlawful restraint and second-degree conspiracy to commit unlawful restraint.
Gloria Escobar, 37, of Fairfield Ave., was charged Wednesday evening with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
Sanjay N. Patel, 39, of Soundview Ave., was charged Wednesday night with second-degree unlawful restraint, second-degree conspiracy to commit unlawful restraint, second-degree assault and second-degree conspiracy to commit unlawful restraint.
Richard J. Scully, 30, of West Ave., was charged Wednesday night with illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and drugs, failure to insure a private motor vehicle, illegal operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, evading responsibility while causing property damage or injury, failure to insure a private motor vehicle and following too closely to a non-commercial vehicle.
