Alleged Bridgeport Car Thief Arrested In Stamford

Mercedes I. Kuzlik, 24, 220 Frank Street, Bridgeport, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with one count of second degree larceny, one degree of illegal operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to insure a private motor vehicle. According to SPD, the vehicle in question was stolen.

"She was stopped for a motor vehicle on Myrtle and Frederick," an SPD officer said. "When they ran the vehicle, they found out that it was stolen."

Kuzlik will appear in court later this week.

Elyse Nastahowski, 20, 61 Hope Street, Stamford, was arrested on Tuesday for sixth degree larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny. According to SPD, Nastahowski worked at a Stop n' Shop on Bedford Street, and allegedly stole $99 from the store.

"A warrant was put out on her, and she was arrested based on the strength of the warrant."

Rolai Jimenez, 33, 33 Spruce Street, Stamford, was arrested on Wednesday for illegal operation of a motor vehicle, illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle without a license.

Raymond Mancini Jr., 34, 45 Scofield Ave., Stamford, was arrested on Tuesday for sales of certain illegal drugs and possession of narcotics.

Jose L. Morales, 32, 3668 Park Ave., Stamford, was arrested on Wednesday for illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and failure to drive right.

Anyelin Sandoval, 18, 34 Richmond Place, Stamford, was arrested on Wednesday for possession of narcotics and conspiracy to commit a crime.

James Sheehan, 41, 149 West Cornwall Road, Sharon, was arrested on Tuesday for violation of a protectice order.
