Employees determined that two of the customers had paid for their merchandise, but not Jessica Bocchetta of 85 Camp Ave. Stamford. On her, employees found a store purse priced at $78 and the ring, priced at $6.

After police arrived at about 11:56 a.m., the store video surveillance system was checked. Officers saw Bochetta removing the handbag from a shelf.

Bocchetta was charged with sixth-degree larceny and later posted a $100 bond. She is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, July 13.
