2-Month Stamford PD Drug Investigation Ends with Arrests

A Stamford man who city police say was under surveilance for suspected drug dealing has been arrested on a variety of drug charges.

Stamford Police Capt. Richard Conklin said Jordan Fletcher, 23, was arrested as he left his 134 Mulberry St. home about 4 p.m. July 12. Investigators from the Narcotics and Organized Crime squad stopped Fletcher as he drove away from his home.

"He's a lower level dealer in marijuana ... The investigation has been going on for about two months," Conklin said. Police found Fletcher had a bag of heroin, marijuana and $1,230 when he was arrested. Police also executed a search warrant and found five ounces of marijuana, digital scales and packaging materials and one oxycodone pill for which Fletcher did not have a prescription, Conklin said.

Fletcher was charged with possession of a hallucinogen, sale of a controlled substance, operation of a drug factory, possession of narcotics and possible of a more than four ounces of marijuana. He was released after posting $500 bond.

Sarah Ayasse, 21, of 266 Hang Dog Ln., Wethersfield, also was arrested with Fletcher. Conklin described her as Fletcher's girlfriend. She was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
