Robert Brownstein of Stamford, CT and Sarasota, FL died Friday morning of a heart attack. He was 88 years old.
He was a loving and devoted husband of Laura and father to his sons, David, Peter and Jason and grandchildren Michael and Sarah.
His greatest joy in his last few years was sitting in the lanai of their Sarasota home engaged in philosophical and intellectual discourse.
He was a planner and was politically active and opinionated.
His wit, intelligence, love and generosity will be missed by many.
Funeral services will be at the Leo P. Gallagher and Sons Funeral Home 2900 Summer Street in Stamford, CT on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at 12:00PM.
