Obituary: Bonny Crouch, 89, Formerly of Stamford

Bonny Franklin Crouch, 89, of Southport, passed away May 26, 2014, in Southport. He was a former Stamford resident.

Bonny was the loving husband to the late Rosemarie. He was the beloved father to his two daughters Cheryl (Arthur) Schulz of Stratford and Dawn (Kurt) Onufrik of Carmel, N.Y.

Bonny was born September 23, 1924 in Harrisonburg, Va., to the late Charles B. and Minnie (Cahill) Crouch. He was a proud Navy Veteran who served his country with valor during World War II.

Prior to his retirement, Bonny spent many years as a baker for Arnold's. In addition to his daughters, Bonny was predeceased by his son, William and four brothers and sisters and is survived by his daughter-in-law Deborah Crouch and five Grandchildren: Kurt Schulz, Erica Schulz-Taylor, Bryan Crouch, Michelle (Kevin) Ducie and Zachary Onufrik, and one great-grandchild.

Family and friends may call at the Leo P . Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer St., Stamford, on Thursday, May 29, from 5 to 8 p.m.

A funeral service will be held Friday, May 30, at 11 a.m., at Turn of River Presbyterian Church, 49 Turn of River Road, Stamford.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Turn of River Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
