Elizabeth 'Lisa' Kirchner, 53; Long-Time Stamford Resident

Calling hours and services are planned for Wednesday, July 9.

From Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home & Crematory.

Elizabeth 'Lisa' Kirchner died suddenly on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at her home in Stamford. She was 53.

Born in White Plains, NY on April 6, 1961, she was a long-time resident of Stamford.

Lisa is survived by her pride and joy, her daughter, Alyssa Rose Elizabeth, age 11. There was not a school, sports or club event of Alyssa's, where Lisa was not present – always a helping hand, a loving presence, a supporting parent. Lisa was also a friend that we could turn to in need, with a listening ear and willingness to help. Her traits of unselfishness, love and quiet strength live on in her daughter and the memories of her friends and family.

In addition to her daughter, Alyssa, Lisa is survived by her eternal friend and Alyssa's loving father, Anthony Chariott; her uncle, Joseph F. Redmond Jr., her aunt, Dorothe R. Johannes; her cousins, Rudolph S. Worosz, Keith Redmond, Paul Redmond, Robert G. Johannes, MD, and Linda Johannes.

She was predeceased by her parents, Jesse Kirchner and Elizabeth (Betty) Kirchner.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 9, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Shippan's Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home (same building as Bosak) 453 Shippan Ave., Stamford, with a spiritual service at 5:30 p.m.

In lieu flowers, donations may be made to the UTMA Account of Alyssa Chariott c/o Allison Family, 269 Red Fox Rd., Stamford, CT 06903. Words of comfort for the family may be sent to the family at www.gallagherfuneralhome.com
