David Allen "Smokey Dave" Jones, 67, Union carpenter

David Allen Jones, “Smokey Dave”, age 67 of Stamford, formerly of Norwalk, died on Monday, May 21, 2012 at Long Ridge of Stamford.

Born in Miami, FL, the son of Donald and Evelyn Jones, David worked as a Union Carpenter - Local# 210, and enjoyed motorcycles, boating, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren and family.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years; Alice (Sandor) Jones, 2 sons; Donald Joseph Jones and Stephen Allen Jones, 2 cherished grandchildren: Jasmine Marie Jones and Joseph Samuel Jones, a sister Jacquelyn Loustaunau, and several loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Joyce Mason.
