Catherine Dohan, 91, Community Chef

Catherine Dohan, age 91, passed away Monday, July 30, 2012 at The Norwalk Hospital.

She was the wife of the late Julius Dohan. Catherine was born on February 17, 1921 in Norwalk, CT, the daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine Condoleo Arena. Catherine enjoyed cooking and established Kaye’s Catering providing pastries, cakes and dinners for countless weddings and anniversaries in the local community.  

Survivors include her sons Peter and his wife Rosemary and Paul and his wife Janice. Catherine is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  

A Graveside Service will take place at St John’s Cemetery on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 9:30 Am. Catherine’s family will receive friends on Thursday, August 2, 2012 from 4 to 8 at The Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk.
