Tryouts Synchronized Team Skating Stamford

The Southern Connecticut Synchronized Skating teams will hold a series of tryouts for the 2013-2014 season in March @ Terry Conners Rink, Stamford for award winning Sprites, Shimmers and Shadows.

The Southern Connecticut Synchronized Skating teams will hold a series of tryouts for the 2013-2014 season in March as listed below at Terry Conners Rink in Stamford for award winning Sprites, Shimmers and Shadows.

Girls ages 6-19 are encouraged to compete for a spot on a team. Age requirements and space availability dictate the formation of each team.  Bring your skates!

Skaters are encouraged to preregister now by mail until the event with a completed registration form and check payment to SCSSPO. Send to Shannon Marciano, President SCSSPO, 943 South Ave, New Canaan, CT 06840.

WALK-INS: Walk-ins welcome but all payments and forms due by the first day of Try Outs. Cash or check.

TRYOUT DATES/TIME:

  • SPRITES: Skaters working on "Basic 5 or higher" level can try out for the Sprites, a beginner team.

    FEE:  $50 total for 2 days
    3/11 - 5:00pm-6:00pm
    3/18 - 5:00pm-6:00pm
  •  SHIMMERS: Prejuvenile team. "Pre-preliminary skaters or higher" can try out for the Shimmers.  

    FEE:  $70 total for 2 days 
    3/15 – 4:00pm-5:30pm 
    3/21 – 4:00pm-5:10pm
  •  SHADOWS: Skaters age 12-and-up that are working on "juvenile or higher" can try out for the Shadows. 

    FEE:  $70 total for 2 days 
    3/14 – 4:00pm-5:10pm
    3/22 – 4:00pm-5:30pm

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to address registration questions and to put on your skates.
