The Ferguson Forum: A Hunger Games Party for Teens

Welcome to The Ferguson Forum, The Ferguson Library’s blog on Patch.com! This site will help keep you up to speed on events here at The Library.

Ah, to be young again…then I could go to all the cool summer programs for teens at The Ferguson Library! The biggest buzz for this year’s “Push Back the Dark – Read” teen summer reading club is surrounding The Hunger Games Party, according to Steve Zampino, the teen librarian at The Library.

“I think it’s going to draw a lot of kids,” Zampino said.

The Hunger Games Party will be held on Wednesday, July 18 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Main Library Third Floor Auditorium, Bedford & Broad Streets, Stamford.

The party, which is open to anyone entering grades 6 to 12, will include a bunch of different little events like a Hunger Games quiz and a race called “The Cornucopia Challenge,” Zampino said. Remember, registration is required, so call 203 351-8243 to sign up.

It sounds like a lot of fun… “May the Odds Be Ever in Your Favor!”
