Riders can choose from a challenging, picturesque 50-mile route, a shorter, but just as scenic, 20-mile route or the 10-mile route through downtown Stamford. All courses begin and end at Columbus Park. The 50-and 20-mile courses feature frequent rest stops with replenishment fluids and nutritious snacks.

In light of the Bennett Cancer Center’s 20th anniversary this year, survivors will be recognized with a special tribute prior to the Walk start, when a group photo is taken on the stage. Also, video interviews from 20 survivors have been complied and will be played on a large screen throughout the day.

Last year, over 4,500 eager supporters gathered in downtown Stamford’s Columbus Park to participate in the event, which reached its $1 million fundraising goal for the first time in 16 years.  Event organizers have set the same $1 million fundraising goal for this year. All proceeds directly support the vital programs and services that benefit the Bennett Cancer Center’s patients and their families.
