Did you know that Bird Screens on the out side of dryer vents are not alowed by code (IRC), they act as any other screen, it holds the lint and blocks the dryer vent (It will also hold a fire in the vent if you had a dryer vent fire) with a blocked vent on the out side no air can blow through and it takes longer to dry your cloths and it can back up heat intot he dryer, shortening the life of your dryer, remove them.
