This state-wide event is being sponsored by the 9/12 Project of Southern Connecticut and will include the raising an Israeli flag above the Connecticut State Capitol each morning during the week of August 22.
In addition to this move, which is being offered to show support for the country of Israel, a 'Stand with Israel' rally will be held on the steps of the Capitol on Wed., August 24 at 12 p.m.
These events will coincide with the 'Restoring Courage' events taking place in Jerusalem the week of 8/22.
A viewing event of the 2 hour‐long rally being held on the Temple Mount with Glenn Beck, and religious and political speakers from the USA and the world, will also be held in Shelton on the evening of Aug. 24.

Commenting on the upcoming series of events, Linda Garamella‐Fusco, leader of the 9/12 Project of Southern Connecticut said, "We vow to stand with the people of Israel and to speak out on their behalf. These Restoring Courage events held throughout CT and the USA are an expression of our solidarity with the State of Israel and the Jewish people."
