Fighting for Our Vets - Benefiting Homes for the Brave

The event will feature Boxing, Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu exhibition matches, food, refreshments and raffles.

Homes for the Brave is located in Bridgeport, Connecticut and provides housing, vocational training and job placement, mental health and addiction services, and life skills coaching to help veterans leave homelessness behind. According to the National Coalition of Homeless Veterans, 1 out of 3 homeless men, who sleeps in a doorway or alley in our communities, has worn a uniform and served the United States. Currently, in Connecticut, between 3,000 and 4,000 Veterans do not have homes.

All event proceeds will be going to Homes for the Brave.

C3 Athletics is lower Connecticut’s premier fitness and martial arts training center. They home numerous expert trainers, including: Sean Hinds whose Muay Thai career spans 16 years and 30 professional fights; Cesar Pereira is a 3rd degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Master Cassio Cardoso, Carlson Gracie Club Jiu-Jitsu; Danny “Joey” Valle is an undefeated professional boxer who is also the Golden Gloves champion with the fastest knock out, 6 seconds.
